My 2010 RX350 AWD is at the dealer right now and the service adviser mentioned that there is a recall that was just issued last month and she wrote down "BSL"

I'm thinking brake service light?

What could this be? I just filled up my tank so I didn't want to get my recall done just yet unless it was very important.

I had this Lexus recall BSL software update applied to my RX350 a couple weeks ago.

This is a Limited Service Campaign. Please contact your authorized Lexus dealer and schedule an appointment to have this campaign completed before 8/7/2015.

On July 24, 2013, the settlement of claims for Economic Loss arising from allegations of unintended acceleration was approved. As part of this settlement, Lexus will install Smart Stop Technology on certain model and model year vehicles. This feature will cut engine power in case of simultaneous application of both the accelerator and brake pedal at certain speeds and in certain driving conditions.

 

So does everyone with a 2010 need to go in? If so i'll go.

 

When is Lexus suppose to send out letters?

 

Log into the Lexus owners website. Under the My Lexus tab, there is a section that'll display any safety recalls and service campaigns for your RX. I just did and my '10 is not included.

 

My RX 350 AWD needs to recall. Supposed to be something related to the suit if you press the gas and brake at the same time. Of course who does that? I'll wait.
