Default Radio USB connection

Does anybody have a picture of the connections to the radio receiver? I would like to know what kind of USB connection it has. Is it a pigtail, USB female type A or B?

Thanks,

If you are referring to the connection in the console, 2010-2012 RX - "A" female, some had pigtails. Often the pigtail is missing as it was just a removable extension cord.
Sorry, no picture.

Thanks, but what I'm looking for is the connection to the actual receiver unit. The only way to find out is to disassemble the dashboard.

Was hoping somebody had already done it and saved me the trouble.

Thanks.

I found what I was looking for on this posting:

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/rx-...10-models.html

Turns out the factory USB unit is easily accessible by removing the back of the center console (see VML connection video).

What I was thinking of doing was providing more USB connections to additional locations in the car like inside the glove compartment, on top of the dashboard etc. So want to see how easy it would be to add a USB hub, and make sure the USB connection still works.

The idea is not to be able to connect multiple devices all at once, since that will definitely not work (not enough power). But just be able to connect a single device at more locations than just inside the center console.

Regards,
