Left our 2010 RX350 set in the heated garage today as it got up to -1 degrees F today in Eastern Iowa for a high. Will have to get her out tomorrow to go to work though. Glad when it warms up!

 

Washed and quicked waxed it on Sunday since it was 60 degrees.. On Sat morning it was 25 degrees and snowing so it was a mess from all the road salt.. Back to the 20's this morning... Crazy weather!!

 

Upgraded from the 2010 to a 2013 F-sport using OEM parts

 

I thought that it was not possible to remove and change from the old face to the more recent one.
Impressive and that completely changes the face and the style.

I have a 2014 Lexus RX350, with 74k miles. I have had this ride since it had 30k years ago. I now have a work vehicle that does almost all of m traveling, so I really only drive this when I am doing road trips for comfort.

What modifications do you recommend or have you done to your vehicle? Mine already has an android head-unit so I have apple carplay.

Things I am considering:
Ambient lighting - I am trying to research getting ambient lighting professionally installed, I think soft colors glowing would be nice for night-time driving
Back-up camera upgrade - new head unit that is 11 inches, means new camera would be great, especially with guidelines. Perhaps even a 360?
Shocks - I recall reading people recommending new shocks [especially once past 75k] that ride a little smoother
Cosmetics: I have looked into maybe upgrading the appearance so it resembles an F-sport series.

Overall curious on recommendations and photos of what you have done!

 

Have you done an ATF drain-and-fill yet? Fresh ATF is always a good idea in these vehicles.

 

I haven't do a drain/fill on a lexo yet.. if you did, would you mind send me some pix/video..thx

I fashioned a screen guard for the underseat climate vents to prevent stuff from rolling in and sloshing around.


Screen in place. Points insert below carpet slit for secure fit.

 

Do you happen to have all the bulb types and links to what you used? I have a 2015 RX350, but I'm hoping the interior bulbs would match between our vehicles.

I'm sorry but I don't any longer. It's been a long time, but I think I found the bulb details on a forum thread. Ebay also has "kits" available. They may list the bulbs you need. I started with cheap LED's that burned out and found paying for quality bulbs meant never touching them again.

 

No problem. I think I've pieced together what I need based on some newer threads and digging into VLEDs site. Thanks!
