Default 2010 RX 350 HIDs

I've been lurking on these forums for a while now (about a year now) and I am finally posting as I need some help/guidance.

I bought a CPO 2010 RX 350 in December 2012 after reading some reviews on this site. The dealer messed up the listing and stated the vehicle came with HID lights but when we went to go see the car, it didn't have HID or bi-xenon lights so the dealers offered to install HID lights at no cost, which he did. Now one of the bulbs went out and the dealer sent new bulbs but they don't fit. After a bunch of back and forth, the dealer settled on letting us purchase a new kit, bulbs and installation and that he would reimburse us. The dealer is 3+ hours from where I live and it didn't really seem very realistic to drive up there just for lights.

Now, I'm trying to figure out what exactly I need to do to put in the new HID lights and which ones to buy? XenonDepot seems to very recommended from what I read. I looked through the forums but I'm not sure if it all makes sense. If you guys have any suggestions or things I should do to make sure I purchase the right components then I would greatly appreciate the help.

Thank you in advance!

Welcome to CL, NeelPSU. That's unfortunate the dealer misrepresented the options on your RX. As far as replacing the dealer-installed HID kit, contact XenonDepot by phone or PM. They'll set you up with everything you need and answer any questions you have. A few members have installed the kits themselves. But since the dealer is picking up the tab, make sure you find a reputable place to do it. It shouldn't take more than an hour including removing the old ballasts and bulbs.

For your reference, I am attaching the bulb guide. You can find it in the specifications section of your owners manual. Good luck.
