2010 RX has massive DRL design, does having LED's in them cause a bulb out warning, will I need a module, etc.

What do you intend to install? Do you have OEM HID? If so then the DRL LED upgrade is just a PNP bulb. If you have halogens then you lose your high beam or you won't have any usable light.

I ended up ordering LED DRL bulbs, 3k HID Fogs, all LED interior lighting and reverse bulbs. ( have HID's) Should look great. Just wondering if the LED DRL's will throw a bulb our code/warning. I ordered capacitors and wiring harness for the HID fogs too.

just a comparison between ebay 9005 6k LED vs 9005 6k HID, cant decide which one going to choose, LED due to less glare and runs cooler or the brighter HID with glare, still waiting for Vleds interior LED's next week,

You shouldn't get an error codes since this isn't a "Can-Bus" type system. That's more for the german cars.


I think the LED will suffice IMO. You're just looking for DRL's and you already have OEM HID for that intended purpose of more light. What did you use for the parking light? I have a 5K LED for parking but it doesn't match anything so I'm back to stock for now.

Also how did you turn on your fog lights without having the headlights on?

 

hi CometVR4, i think youre right, DRL LED will be enough, thanks, parking light used 6k LED from V-leds, for my fog testing only i have use separate relay wiring harness.

just interior and puddle LED's and xenondepot 5K D4S bulbs, by the way white dome or blue bulbs? I have tried them both.

Nice job vince22. I also like the clear white LED DRL better. HID is too bright. And definitely go white on the interior. It highlights the parchment interior better.

hi vince22. May I ask where you go the led bulbs for the interior white colored ones? I think it looks really good. Also is it easy to change out the dome lights?
