Three punctures in glove box door
My 2012 mysteriously has 3 puntures in the gray leather glove box door. Where is the cheapest place to get a replacement or the best place to get it repaired in the Chicago area.

Check with local dealers to get a baseline on price and part numbers. A local body shop may also be cheaper. Then check with forum sponsor Sewell's where you can get a ClubLexus discount. Use the part number to do a web search. If you really mean cheapest, then you can search the used parts dealers online or monitor ebay.
I have repaired a few problems on my boat with very good results. They have inexpensive kits you can get for vinyl/leather repair. Basically, you mix material to right color and apply it to damaged area. Then use one of the included texture patches to apply a similar texture. This may be good enough depending on your goals. A leather repair shop might also be a possibility if you are not the DIY type. It will only cost $10 or $15 to try and repair it yourself, if that fails you can pursue the other options.
