Default smoky gray vs nebula gray
Pretty much decided to go with the gray. Anyone knows the difference between smoky gray for 2010 and 2011, and nebula gray for 2012?

Welcome to the forum.

A couple of places for you to try:
  • Take a look at this site. Click on the brochure icon for the 2010 and the 2012 -- colors look off on my display, but it may help.
  • I'm really happy with my 2013 nebula gray -- not too light, not too dark, and enough sparkle to make me happy. Take a look at some recent higher-res photos of it here, and for comparision, try this search also on Flickr that contains photos of some IS and other Lexus Smoky Granite Mica vehicles.

If you can imagine black to white color scale, nebula gray would be close to the middle and smoky gray is darker in between black and nebula.

That Nebula grey looks pretty good. Better looking color and name than Toyota's Winter Grey.
