Bluetooth on I phone in RX350
How can you access bluetooth audio using an Iphone 5 without going through the "connect" process every time you get in the car? The phone automatically connects, but to play , say Pandora using the "aux" I have to take the time to use connect commands. What am I missing?

My iPhone 5 connects every time as a phone AND as a portable player in both of my cars. The phone last connected is the default. Assuming it is also registered as a portable player, it will connect that as well. The only time I have to reconnect either my phone or player manually, is when it has most recently been connected to my wife's phone.
Page 273 in my manual says once a portable player has been registered with the system, it should reconnect automatically, when the POWER is in either the ACCESSORY or ON mode. I would try unregistering your device as a portable player (maybe even the phone as well) and start over, if yours doesn't work that way.
