Vossen needs to get an RX with VVSCV5 on it! Do a film too... If I ever make my mind, I would be more than willing to let my car be used for a shoot LOL

yes please, preferably on a black RX. Those rims would look sweet. 22's though.

Yeah either 20's or 22's would be nice!

how hard is it to find a 22x7.5 rim? does anyone have concerns with altering the suspension geometry or adding unnecessary weight to their wheels?

The bolt pattern determines if the wheel will fit or not.
The offset is how far the middle of the wheel is offset relative to the hub. The smaller the number, the closer to the middle the hub it will get, the farther apart will the wheels be, the more they will stand-out. Swaying away from this number will change the suspension geometry (bad!). The only reason to go to a smaller number is if the tires are too wide to fit. 255mm will fit just fine.

You can certainly get a wider rim. It would allow for less sidewall play. 8" is just dandy.

All of aftermarket wheels will come with plastic centering rights. They are only there so that the wheel can be mounted straight. After that, they do not do anything.
Vlad - do you think these will work on my RX350?

The bolt pattern is right and the offset looks close. Better to run your decision by a tire shop...

Why get the same size though? Why not get something bigger?

Decided to stick with the 18" size. Used the OEM tires.

I like this idea! We still haven't decided if we'll do the CV5 in 22" sizes yet, though!

hey, so you just bought those rims in the ebay ad here:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/18-LEXUS-ISF-GUNMETAL-WHEELS-RIMS-RX-RX300-RX300-RX350-AWD-HYBRID-RX400H-RX450H-/310623325975?_trksid=p2047675.l2557&_trkparms=aid%3D222002%26algo%3DSIC.FIT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D163%26meid%3D6240022789796180703%26pid%3D100005%26prg%3D1088%26rk%3D1%26sd%3D370773485237%26&nma=true&si=AP8b8KXmU1O70Xdz6a2As2bkRGo%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc
and then you just put your old 18" tires on it? they fit on perfectly?

No, i bought the rims from Discount Tire Direct and then used my 18" tires on them. The new rims were 1/2 inch wider than the factory rims but the original tires compensated for that. Lexus dealer charged me $100 to remove the old rims and TPMS and install on new rims and initialize the tpms. overall a great experience and not one decrease in ride quality. DTD was very easy to work with

I thought you were happy with the chrome rims? They look sharp on your RX.
