Would anyone have an idea of why the Head up display in my RX 450 would not come?

 

Welcome to CL daisymay. Have you tried pressing the HUD button to the right of the steering wheel? It also switches it over to km so you may need to press it more than once.

 

There is also a switch that adjusts the level at which the HUD can be seen.

We had the same issue, and it turned out that it had been adjusted to where only a Hobbit could see it.

 

...or it's set too dim. On my 2013 there are three switches to the right of the steering wheel below the dash panel indicators in front of your right knee. The left one turns HUD on/off and as Anitia suggested will toggle betweem mph/km (it's a 3-way), the center one is brightness/contrast, and the third on the right raises/lowers the display as NoLFA4U suggests. Check the first two on the left of that set... You need the HUD on and super bright to begin with, then adjust from there. If that does not work, time for Lexus Service.
