I have a 2010 RX350 and while driving with the radio or CD player on, the station will suddenly change or the CD will eject when I press the temperature up/down button or turn on the AC
I have searched thru the forum, but cannot find a similar problem.
I have also had a situation where I try to turn the radio off and it won't turn off and I can't tune to another station, but I can change to another station from the steering wheel. A restart of the vehicle will overcome this problem until anther occurance. These are intermittent problems, sometimes the system works fine. Any ideas?

 

There are reports I've read here of other problems with mysterious switching in the "stereo system" similar to what you describe, and in the cases I remember, when the owner took it to the dealer, the whole head unit ended up being replaced under warranty. I'd suggest you take it in for service.

 

Thank you Bert, sadly I am out of warranty, but I will have to take it in to be fixed.

 

A couple people here have had the same issues like u mentioned and the whole unit was replaced by the dealer. Good luck! Keep us posted!

 

Mine was doing the same thing. I took it the dealer last Friday and they said they'd have to replace the radio. They just called and said they had it and I have to make another appointment to get it replaced. One hundred miles to my nearest dealer.
