got 45k miles out of oem tires which was surprising being that i live a mile & half down a gravel road

although the last 5k were legal, they were thinner than i probably should have been driving on

new 19" tires were $250 a pop, more than i've ever paid for a tire

18"s were only $160/ea w/ $70 promo & the savings on the 18's would be recurring for life of rx

so i found some oem looking lightweight wheels to make the swap

bought some advanti racing b2 denaros covered with michelin primacy mxv4's

oem wheels weighed in @ 32.5 & advantis @ 20.5 making for a nice 48lb reduction

new tires were a 1/2 lb lighter

Nice wheels. Where did you buy them from, and how much did they run you. I am in the market for some cheap(ish) aftermarket wheels.

 

not really the blingy type, but i had thought they would look good in white

 

^Paint them in white, The only downside of the color white on the caliper is that it'll look dirty really fast.
