GoHuskers,

Nicely done, they both look great. I debated for hours whether to get the red or the black. Obsidian won out, but your solution works pretty good too.

At least the recent cold snaps are keeping bugs at bay.

Both trucks look the part Huskers - congratulations.

Of the two colours, the black is the one for me - together with those LED clusters it really works.

I was looking for another SUV and did NOT want another RX but after months of looking and testing many others (X5, MDX, Porsche, GX460, GX470) the 450h with Black/Black and LED won over. It is WEIRD that we have 2 RXes but I enjoy driving mine.

I have the white led too on my RX 450h, are you happy with the brightness and the light it gives compared with other system like xenon ?

I have the LED lights and they are more than bright enough. I wish I could put HID's in for the Highs but as they run as the Daytime Running lights at reduced voltage HID's will not work.

I think the light output is closely the same as the RX Bi-Xenon. Look at this post for the side by side comparison I took couple months ago.

we do not have the HID's switched on during the day (only for for / snow driving conditions) and the brit-ghtness is more "amber" because it's not led by lamps.
Actually, I'm quite happy with the white leds compared with the xenon I had on the 400h before the 450h but I find the result a bit less efficient under ring conditions at night...not really sure but a bit less efficient.

Is it a personal feeling or do you share this like me?

It can be but it's not cheap. I found this old thread on the topic. You're talking about paying around $350 for those two chrome pieces.
