Hindsight is a marvelous thing: So would any of the people who have a 450h give any tips to make sure I get the best out of my new 450h? ( I will be keeping it for several years )..

Thanks for the reply gladiator9. But I was after maintenance and use tips - rather than the cleaning aspects of the car ( already posted in the detailing section and learnt a lot from there )

x10civ, just keep up with the maintenance schedule. This is my 3rd RX but first hybrid. In the past I've made sure I had what needed to be done done and on time. That's where my awesome service advisor comes in. She's been looking out for me since '98.

I'm not sure how much of a DIYer you are. I'm not except for the few things that can be taken care of without too much effort. Why bother when driving to the dealer is so much easier Seriously, it's been a relatively trouble free 13 years. Don't sweat it.

You are right - I should just enjoy the 450h. Little things like making sure the ac is off 10 mins before arrival of the destination, to avoid the "smell" things was the type i was looking for, because the car is only new once - and soon it will be too late ...
