JSKennedy, what does your mpg readout on the info in the center up near the steering wheel tell you? Is it giving those numbers that you've come up with? Driving around town my readout always stays at 18.1 miles per gallon. Now, if I go on a trip, say to the mountains or to the Keys, between 800 miles and 1,000 miles round trip, then my readout might get up to 25 miles per gallon.

the 29.2 mpg # was from the readout behind steering wheel

it was the "average" # which i reset after each tank

FWD or AWD? Sorry if asked but I didn't notice.

I'm on my first tank, half city half hwy, and I'm at 14 mpg. I cant imagine getting 30

some may read about the Sonata cross country challenge which only required two fillups and averaged mid 60MPG.

driving/averaging 40-45mph/ windows close / no ac etc will achieve incredible mileage because it is the most fuel efficient "zone". anyone can achieve the MPG with our RX, but unfortunately, no one here nor anyone I know will do
