2013 awd
I used android app to track my fuel consumption and here is the result of the first 5K miles:
Best: 21.45 mpg (Tahoe trip with snowboards on top)
Worst: 15.15 mpg (I tried to be aggressive as driving IS once)
Average: 17.73 mpg
Total Mileage: 5039 Miles
Total Fuel: 298.44 Gal
Total Fill-ups: 20 times
Total $ Cost: 1113.08 USD
Period: 149 Days
My trips: almost 100% city driving of short distances (5 or less miles).
Prior to this my '09 IS 250 can get me easily over 24 mpg (and being fast)
I started with 87 gas and change to 91 gas to see more power/pick-up.
For both kinds of gas, mileage stays the same.

Yes, the graph is correct at a tick under 32mpg and over about 2 years, see the dates. The 'best' # is one period at night when I filled it and drove home about 4 miles mostly on the battery.

Is something wrong with my RX I have 2010 350 with AWD. I can seem to ever get the gas millage or range you guys are getting. I am also not mashing the accelerator. Even after filling the tank and setting the cruise control to 55mph for 40min my fuel range is only 281 and that's on full tank. According to the web I should be getting at least 375-400 miles per a tank. I am also using 93 and my car is always Lexus serviced ie oil changes, etc are done. And the trunk is empty. Any ideas? Because I have a service appointment soon.

We went on our first "long" (extensive use of freeway and turnpike speeds) yesterday. The 2013 RX350 only has about 1500 miles on it but it got 24 MPG for the run (average speed about 75 MPH). We get 18 MPG. This is still a decrease in cost for us as our previous 2008 ES350 got better mileage but had to burn the more expensive premium gas. Therefore the cost per mile is down. We love this car.

17779 miles right now, just got the car yesterday, i went all the way home, 80% of the trip was highway, i got 18.5 mpg, but they filled up with regular gas, ill try to break in the car a bit more, cuz before it was driven by some old lady, hopefully to get more mpg and ill put in 89th gas to see if anything will improve

RX350 FWD, about 1800 miles. I was only able to get 18.1 mpg and I visit gas stations more often than I prefer Run on regular gas is a plus, but Lexus should have put a larger gas tank as those MB ML350 and Jeep Grand Cherokees. Good thing I did not buy a MDX, which has similarly small tank and even lower gas mileage.

octane rating has nothing to do with mpg. The main factors are mileage on the car, driving style, and tire pressure. Some drivers will never do well as they work the pedals too hard. My wife's 2011 FWD RX350 is finally up to about 24mpg after 25,000 miles.

I have a 2011AWD Rx with about 22, 500 on it. Getting about 22 hiway and about 17 around town using premium. That is with taking it easy on the gas pedal and timing the lights. Ride is kind of stiff and bouncy on rough roads but hoping that will sotten up in time.

New owner of a 2010 Rx 450h with 25,000 miles . Just checked the mileage 28.3 mpg mix of city and highway driving. Loving this vehicle traded in my 2006 Porsche Cayenne Turbo that averaged 10.8 mpg. Darn near 3x the gas mileage gotta love it. Gave up some power and the Porsche was very comfortable but I really like the Lexus

Did another 150 mile road trip up over a mountain pass and back. 27.9 mpg. Not bad.
Around town daily commuting is giving around 23mpg. I had hoped for better in city but I think the cold start and fairly short 5 mile commute combined with hills is the problem.
Overall way better than the terribly underpowered Buick Rendezvous we had that got 15mpg city/22 mpg best highway.

Just got a new 2013 RX 450h. Since the dealer filled up the gas tank, I have been getting 29mpg of mixed driving, stop and go around town, highway, and on hills I have about 240 miles on in the odo.
