battery protection

Coming out of an X5 & new to Lexus. Does the RX 350 have battery protection ? If you leave a light on inside will it turn off after a while?

Not sure about light(s), but a 450 does on the radio. It auto shuts off after awhile. Learned the hard way. Just kept turning it on one day while detailing the car. Then nothing came on...dead battery.

I don't think the lights turn off--which surprises me. The last time I left them on and went inside my house, they were still on two hours later.
