Suspension?
I am a new Lexus owner and also a new owner of a SUV. I am coming from driving Honda sedans for the past 15 years. The one thing I have been disappointed with is the quality of the drive. My RX 350 moves around quite a bit and can best be described as a bouncy or bumpy ride when driving on the same roads I have been driving on for years. I never noticed the bumps and bounces as I have with my Lexus.
Is there something wrong with my Lexus and its suspension. Or is this just something you have to get used to going from a sedan to a SUV considering I am now higher up off the ground. I have driven my wifes mini van for the past 8 years occasionally I have never noticed a difference.

You would have liked the older gen Rx as their suspension was softer. Softer suspension in this SUV generally equates to more body lean into corners. Personally, I like this newer, stiffer suspension and improved cornering. After a couple thousand miles or so, the suspension will soften up a little. Also, what tire/wheel combo you running? I've heard 19 inch wheels end up with a bit stiffer ride than 18 inch. You have the "sport" suspension? That will also stiffen the ride a bit. Check tire pressure like flystone said....dealers have been noted to over-inflate them

I think I have similar situation as LexusGo4. I am too coming form Honda/Acura sedan. Just got my regular 2013 RX350 AWD with 19" wheel last weekend. I feel the ride is really bouncy and some time bumpy on rough road. Check cold tire pressure and it was in 33-34 psi range. Lower it to 32 psi, ride feels less bumpy, but still bouncy.
That I didn't experience when I drove a 2012 loaner RX350 in Vancouver. I didn't remember if loaner was in 18" or 19".
@LexusGo4, do you think the ride goes better after several thousands miles?
Or I just need to get used to crossover/suv ride behavior?
