My new RX450h USB port seems not to be working. My Ipod shows charging when I plug it into the USB, but the car audio system does not recognize it. Dealer said to try resetting my Ipod, which I did, but problem persists. On the car audio screen the USB tab does not illuminate as being available. I guess a service visit is in order. Anyone else have this problem?

 

I used to have this problem early on. Try gigling it at the connection. Also, leave it there and turn of and on the car. When my audio finally recognized the usb device, I just left it there permanently.

 

I had a similar problem when I had a thumb drive connected (USB) and an MP3 player connected (3.5mm) at the same time. Once I disconnected the MP3 player, the USB drive was recognized.

I guess I should try this again to see if it truly was a conflict.
