2011 rx in starfire pearl white/black interior
I am looking for the rx450h but i guess this could pertain to the 350 as well. i want a white/black combo and the dealer did a nationwide search and nobody has that combo in stock. i thought it was a new color combo for 2011 that wasn't available for 2010. he says that combo can be special ordered but it is not typically a high demand combo and made regularly by the factory. can anybody verify?

which dealership did you go to? you should just email all the dealerships in the area and ask if they have what you want in their inventory. if they don't have it, then just order it.

No, I don't play soccer!
ziggy, doesn't hurt to ask. My special order was around the same price as the pre-packaged RXs in my area with fewer options. Add what I have in and it's way over. And if you really want that color combo (very nice BTW), it might be the only way to go.

It is rare for that color combo but, I did see someone in this forum get it. Once they get further along in production the different combos will appear. They go for the most popular first. If you are patient they will make a few of them, then the problem is, will it have the features you want.
Good Luck.

So that means, along the way, we will see more and more combos? BTW, why is this color combo so rare besides the fact that i just heard it from a dealer and he claims nobody in this country has one. cant always trust everything they say...

I have an 450H on special order right now. This dealer knew that if they did not come up with a very good price I would go somewhere else to order the car. MSRP 62,74949 got it for 55,286 + tt and 399 retail Delivery fee . So yes you can get a good deal if you special order one but you must let them know that you we go anywhere for a good price.
