Check AWD system warning
Hello,
Just bought a 2010 RX 350 two weeks ago and it is 500 miles on the car. I had warning on the console saying " Check AWD system" and it scared the hell out of me, i was surprised with the warning because it is just 2 weeks old car and i doubted Lexus's reliabilityfor a while, I took the car to dealer, they verified it and told no issue with the car, he explained some thing but i did not understand that at all..In the end , no issue with the car.
Is it something i need to worry? For a moment, i thought i got a DEFECTIVE RX 350, Please let me know your comments.
Thanks/KCS

Thats definitely not right and for the dealer to just shrug it off sucks. Even if the light went off before you got to the dealer there should still be a code recorded of the malfunction.
Next time try to take a picture so you have some proof. Also find a new dealer.

Unfortunately i did not have picture taken but somebody posted this on another forum and below is the link and there is a picture attached there, that is exactly the same message i got.

What exactly did the dealer do to fix the problem? I found out I had this problem AFTER i purchased my car, by accidentally logging into mylexus website and putting in my vin # and checking the service history AFTER I bought the car.
