I definitely like it because I am one of the people who disliked the "pointy" front nose of the RXs. I think the 2010 is an improvement over the second generation in that respect, but like your mod a lot better.

Very nice mod. Had that been available when I was looking I might well have opted for the 2010 RX instead of going to brand X (which I still do not regret). It certainly improves the looks.

If you could drop that license plate & holder onto the spoiler, then that would be perfect.

I know, easier said than done...

Thanks for all the comments. RY888, the spoiler is similar, but the one that you refer to has lights. The one that I have does not. Here is the link of the Lexus site in Japan:

Almost looks like a side parking clearance guide or marker - that side would be opposite the driver's position. It appears it would also illuminate at night; Japanese garage doors are notoriously narrow. Post the link: I can probably translate it...

Just as I thought, a fender clearance lamp. Literal translation:

The fender lamp which supports the routing of the vehicle assured the flush conversion of the bumper when receiving, when using the refinement which matches to the elegant styling pursued. The LED illumination of the blue which is superior in visibility regardless of day and night, in order to light up in only driver direction, is not conspicuous around.Adjusting to the bumper surface, the point which it finishes sharply, thinking of the safety to the pedestrian, used the rubber material softly
Fog Light Info:

In comparison with the halogen lamp, brightness of 3 times approximately 40% economical electric power the projector type discharge fog lamp of merit. With the color which is close to solar light, regarding the circumstance whose such as thick fog sight is bad and rain high visibility is shown.Regarding design characteristic we are superior, when having lit up without changing the impression which the original styling has, even, we float the high-class impression.
Sounds like HID fogs to me... Quite pricey though...

You can buy a conversion kit from one of our sponsors for about $150 vs $1500 as shown.

I have a message out to Carson asking them to check into the fog lights for me. I'm curious to see how much they'll be and will look into other options as well. Decisions, decisions.

i spoke to luis a few months ago about the price for the 3RX hid fog lights, and he said it's similar in price to my GS hid fogs. so approx $1,900 give or take a few hundred bucks.

don't forget, you are getting a true hid projector fog light, not some cheapy kit that you see here or on ebay. guaranteed the light pattern will be focused and directed, not "sprayed" all over the road like some of the aftermarket hid kits do.

there is no comparison between a $150 cheap hid kit vs a $1,500+ lexus japan oem true projector hid kit. that's like comparing a ford escort to a lexus, totally different and unfair comparison. as they say, you have to pay to play.

I don't know if I agree, unless I have salient facts before me, however... we're discussing an option that is by all accounts not available in North America, and in this instance, exclusively from Lexus JDM. That $1500 is the factory option price, and I can only imagine what premium one would have to pay to bring those parts here. So your point then is moot. Perhaps our friends at XenonDepot might be better suited to interject here. From my POV, I may try this, as my son installed one of their systems last year, and we were thoroughly satisfied with the ease of installation and the quality of the material supplied. It may not have been Lexus OEM parts, but really what is nowadays with manufacturers sourcing from all points on the compass?
