Fob Advice
Went to put clothes in dryer. Opened the clothes washer and out fell my fob. Dried it with a hair dryer and it seems to be working.
Any experience with this? Will it fail me sooner than later?

You're probably OK. The circuit board in these devices is sealed up pretty good. Car makers anticipate these type of events, and design them fail-safe 90% of the time +/-. I would take a good look at the battery though, and consider changing it - cheap insurance.

Went swimming with our 05 RX fob a couple times in chlorine pool, then once in Pacific Ocean. I used rubbing alcohol to clean the board (battery out of course) to remove any contaminants and it still worked for two years after the last incident until sold. Haven't had the 10Rx long enough for stupid stuff like that, but just give me time.

You can also put the unit in a container of rice (uncooked) close the lid and let it sit a couple of days. My wife dropped her Ipod in water and this dried it out completely.
