I just picked up a brand new 2010 RX350 (without Nav) n Smoky Granite. I love it. I just ended my lease on my BMW X3. There is a button on the radio called Traffic. The salesman says that doesn't work in NY but I figured I would throw this out to the board. Is there anyway for that button to go directly to the Traffic Station on XM.

 

Hmm, I don't have a traffic button on my radio. I know from the '04, it's supposed to seek stations with travel reports. Can't believe that wouldn't be possible in NY. Was he selling the Brooklyn Bridge too? As far as the traffic on XM, you might need to set it up on one of the SAT preset buttons since it is part of XM.

its like the weather band that other cars have. It just seeks out traffic report stations like Anita said.

 

Where in NY are you that you can,t get traffic info? Certainly not "the city"

 

The button doesn't actually do anything.. I get traffic on Satellite..... but I figured this is a shortcut button.
