Audio Questions (Bluetooth and USB)

Audio Questions (Bluetooth and USB)
Hey guys
I just picked up my RX 350 (without navigation) and I have two audio related questions.
1. Isn't the stereo supposed to be able to control the bluetooth connected audio device? It doesn't seem to work for me. All I can do is pause and play the music I can't advance tracks.
2. When I first start my car my ipod connects automatically through bluetooth. The problem is that if i switch to another input and then switch back to BTA my ipod will not reconnect unless I force a reconnection through the menus or restart the car. Any advice?
3. Is there a way to add the USB / ipod interface to an RX without nav?
