I wear my polarized sunglasses all the time, have no problem seeing the HUD.

I love the power folding mirrors, that's one of the reason I got the LL package.

I agree. I wear polarized sunglasses too and can see HUD. It's lighter but still visible.

I love the HUD. I drive a lot of secondary roads with changing speed limits, and it's amazing how handy it is to see the speed being displayed with out taking my eyes off the road. ditto the Nav screen turn info. I honestly didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I do.

I have a 2010 RX 450h with all the bells and whistles sold in Canada except the towing package, which I would never use. I think the HUD is the single best feature. It almost makes up for the terrible Navigaion package. It has saved me several speeding tickets as it forces me to pay attention to my speed. I have had no problem using it with prescription trifocal sunglasses. (The next step is a seeing-eye dog) I suppose, from reading this thread, that the sunglasses are not polarized.

Go to Lexus.com and look under pricing & options for RX. Scroll way down the list and the Luxury options will be listed.

Really wanted HUD but in the time frame I had couldn't wait. I didn't realize the issue with polarized sunglasses until reading this thread. Ouch, that would have been bad.

Tow package is heavy duty radiator and alternator plus a transmission cooler. I believe it is only available on the AWD as it is the only one with a tow rating.
I wanted it because I live in the desert and heavy duty parts are a necessity.

And I believe it only adds about $300 to the bottom line as best as I can recall.

Love it

Radio stations, turn-by-turn NAV, speed.

I do wish that there was some user-defined options with the HUD though.

* Like Radio/SAT station display "on/off" and choices for time these are displayed as well as "on always" off always"

* Capability of actual time displayed

* metadata - artist and song and album, track, etc.

What a Dealer try to screw you..... Say it isn't so. LOl

You bet they would screw you. I even put a deposit one time (LONGO Lexus) and found out after the vehicle showed that someone else got it and they didn't tell me I was putting a deposit to be 2nd inline if the other guy didn't take it. Few weeks later I was finally able to get my money back and I bought the car someone else.

My dealer did not want a deposit either. Arrowhead Lexus. They at no time attempted to screw me, in fact they went out of their way to make the deal work. Very happy with them.

19's can come with the Bridgestones or Michelin's. I requested the Michelin's and the dealer made it happen. They had to take them off another RX, but they did it.

I have the Dunlops so there are three different tires the RX can come with. No complaints with them so far.
