Does anybody know why the text cuts off for the name of the artist and song on the NAV display. There is room for the whole line but for some reason it only goes half way. Not such a big deal, but Im very ****.

The radio only displays so many characters.

I think the display only shows 16 characters. It seems like a waste since there is so much room left in the disply line. Maybe a software fix is warranted.

XM has displayed 16 characters at least for more than 6/7 years. I don't know their technology, but can't they develop the new software/firmware?

Or they just cannot give up this hexadecimal stuff... their system must work under this hexadecimal worm...

On my X5 the entire artist/track displays, but its a Sirius radio.

Same problem here. I was told buy dealer - thats the way it is. One would think with such a high end vehicle we could get the whole display. My neighbors Chev. displays the whole line. Nice when u are looking for NFL scores during the game broadcasts.
