After owning 13 Audi vehicles over the past 27 years, I have been promised delivery of my new 2010 RX 450 h on January 27, 2010.

It has the Ultra Premium package, including navigation and all the other goodies sold in Canada and is black on black.Perhaps I can rent it to a funeral home when I am not using it. This was no my first choice of colours (Canadian spelling), but it was take it in black or wait another 3 months.

I have never owned a SUV before but have driven AWD for more than 25 years and am used to it and also wanted to try the Hybrid technology.

Hello: I just bought my new 2010 RX 350 yesterday. I got smokey granite mica, I got nav with 12 speakers, comfort package, premium package, parking assist. I really wanted the upgraded wheels with the heads up display, but no dealers in 8 dealer radius from mine had it...and they said 3-4 months for order. This is the 3rd RX I had, replacing my 2008, which replaced my 2006. I got $2700 off, plus all weather cargo mat, plus 50 car washes, plus all weather mats when the dealer gets them in again... Did I get a good deal? :-)

Fleainat... 12% off MSRP is a great deal! I am looking to buy a Truffle Mica in SoCal. Can I ask which dealer you got this deal from and if you used a buying program? I am looking at Costco and carsdirect so far but am willing to negotiate on my own for the best deal. Thanks.

 

Originally, I was looking at getting a base model. But, I contacted my 10 local dealers via email (sent my color request via each dealer's website). They all replied and said they could give me great deals and throw in more options. I esentialy got each dealer to send me the spec sheets of the closest RX in stock to what I needed, and I asked for their rock bottom price so that we were not wasting anyone's time. Once I got basically 3 identical offers, I emailed each of the fleet managers one more time and gave them a last chance to get my business, basically saying "beat this deal." I ultimately went with Santa Monica because they were the most straightforward and closest to my house. I have worked with Longo several times in the past, but I was surprised they were a little bit higher than some other dealers.
I highly recommend this approach. Take your time, do your homework and don't rush into it until it's the perfect vehicle. I will definitely go back to Santa Monica for my next Lexus.

Replaced my beloved 2008 rx400h with new rx450h.
Smoky Granite with grey interior, but layed out in a pattern that I havent seen in any other 350 or 450. Was a big surprise. Can't find out why this difference from others including pictures in brochures, etc.
