Default XM Radio

My 3-month XM radio trial period on my 2010 RX will be completed in just a few days. I understand that very often you can receive a "deal" from XM Satellite Radio on a renewal. Has anyone gotten a deal from XM Radio recently, and which of their many phone numbers did you call to get it?

Thanks

I'm going to deal with this situation soon, and decide not to renew. Unless the deal is super good, I probably won't continue... IMO.

Info of XM weather seems correct to me. Accuracy of XM traffic is half and half. XM radio is so so... Aih.

Weather... I don't see the attractiveness of it. Look out the window or check it online or on the TV before you leave.

The database the traffic info is pulled from is the same one highway patrol and news stations use, so this isn't an XM thing.

In where I'm, after comparing with Google, Yahoo, and XM Traffic, Google is the most accurate to me. Maybe they got info from the different sources or each "vendor" deals with info they've received differently.

Btw, I don't care about Weather, either. I mentioned Weather is 'cause it's the only thing seems working to me.

Call 877-228-9038 ask for the $77 renewal special (doesn't incl. traffic or weather).

What exactly does the $77 special get you as far as channels. Is it for a year? Will it keep them in business for another year?

I tried the $77 and was shot down. I have a Sirius account and they won't combine accounts, go figure. I now have Sirius on my I Phone and it works great in the 350 USB port. I added my I Phone on for $3 a month and was upgraded to Premium.

My XM will expire in about 5 days, no intention of renewing.

It is a 1-year subscription to the "XM Everything" package.

They said the $77 deal is a promotion for only the first year, so next year they'll charge me the regular price to renew the subscription.

I call XM/Sirius with a technical problem and they rep on the phone really pushed me to sign up. He offered numerous plans and right before hanging up offered $399 lifetime with 3 car transfers. The rep mentioned that it covered EX Everything and Best of Sirius. FYI...

Sounds like a good deal, but how long is lifetime if they go '****' up ???? They sound a bit desperate. But that is an offer to consider.

I have both xm and sirius (now mated together) and bought the 2 year option. Sirius has a lifetime option from a few years ago when they first hit a cash shortage. I am not sure thats part of the XM offering. It should be but may be a SNAFU there.

I like having business news via CNBC--on my BMW I get delayed stock quotes on SIRI--does XM show the stock quotes?

I'm going to let mine expire...

But, I gave a friend the number the lof and ajs said above... the deal is

Radio - $77 per year (=$6.42 per month) (original price: $12.95 per month or $142.45 for 1 year)
Traffic - $47.88 per year (=$3.99 per month) (original price: $9.95 per month)
Traffic+Weather - $19.95 <--- cannot find the relevant info

So, he ordered Radio+Traffic $77 + $47.88 = $124.88 for one year. XM will charge $12.95 first, then charge $111.93 in the next billing cycle.

If anyone gets the different info by this phone number, please post... thanks. Wish this is real.
