Default iPod software bug?

Hi,
I got my RX last week and noticed a strange bug when using my 5 gen iPod. When I try to scroll down a playlist (or any list, like genre) using either the double arrow buttons on the nav screen or the up/down nav button, not only does the list advance by 5 titles, but one of those titles starts playing. This means that to scroll down to the middle of a 30 track list, I have to listen to several titles for a few seconds which is annoying and slows things down. Has anyone else experienced this?

An unrelated question - I like the beep you get when you press Enter, but wish it was softer. I know you can turn it off but have not figured out if you can control the volume. Any ideas?

Thank you all in advance.

I have the same problem with the ipod interface. It's annoying that it plays the song as I scroll through the list. I only had the car for two days so I'm still trying to figure it out.

IPod works as advertised. IPhone works with music Sirius. On incoming call music stops and phone answers. I use the USB connection. Disregard any messages that say car and phone don't like each other.

The beep volume can be adjusted through the vehicle setup screen in the NAV system.

Default i-pod bug

We are having the same problem with the i-pod plus the i-pod disconnects itself sometimes when we restart the car-Any suggestions?

My wife told me to say that we love the car(but that is a given) and are ecstatic with the purchase.
