And/or is there an equivalent to the "info" button on non-nav equiped RX's? It seems that the radio buttons are integrated into the BT setup so maybe one of them is the "info" button.

"1) turn the ignition to on position"

Does the engine need to be running or are we just pushing the start button twice to turn on the nav?

"2) turn the lights "on" and then "off" while holding down the "INFO" button on the screen"

Is the info button the info/phone button on the Nav? How do you hold down the info button? As soon as you press enter you switch to another screen, so you are not holding anything down.

I don't have my RX yet, but in my Infiniti M35X there are 3 settings to the start engine button:
1. ACC
2. ON
3. (step on brakes) START

I'm thinking it should be the same on the RX and my guess is that it's just the ON (#2) position. But I could be wrong.

I agree with Flatrocky. Any 3rd Gen owners on the forum that have adjusted the BT microphone levels? PLEASE supply detailed instructions....

UPDATE: Took my RX into the dealship today and they adjusted the bluetooth microphone gain from a "0" to a "+2". Currently on the 2010 there is no known backdoor into the diagnostic set up screen. I sat in the car when they adjusted the gain. They plugged a computer cable (didn't see what type of cable) into the car in the driver footwell right above the break pedal. From the laptop, they ran a few comands and up popped a diagnostic screen on the navi screen. I've made a few calls and people say it does sound better. The lead engineer did say Lexus is aware of the problem and my RX was one of the first to be adjusted. I'll make a few more calls to see if "+2" is the best setting...More to come...

i took the 2010 RX 350 to fixed up the mic volume last week to lexus. they said that the mic is been fixed. problem stayed the same. i took it back today and had a chance to see the mechanic trying to fix it. the guy was trying to increase cabin volume instead. i told him that only way to do is through the laptop cause i learned it on a lexus forum. the guy didnt like and was kind of argumentative. he also tried get in the setting pressing info and some other buttons blah blah. finally he had to bring the mighty laptop and connect it. first he said the settings are not in this software. i said they are in there and the factory settings are at 0. minute later there it was MIC volume and it was at 0. he turned it up to 3 and seems like fine now. this is a dealership in the prairies.

I probably will ask the dealer to increase it, too, in my next visit. Thanks guys.
