Default Anybody with PVD Chrome experience?

Got the 19's on the RX. The wife calls her sexi-lexi. She needs some new shoes though! Man, the silver looks *good* - but it could *great* with a little something shiny!

With the lower chrome on the door moldings - I think chrome wheels would totally set off the car.

So then there's the question of what are my options? I don't want to deal with the dealer on getting stockers chromed to the tune of 2 grand.

Surfing around eBay, there's some OEM chrome exchange sellers. Prices are reasonable.

Then I found this PVD chrome stuff. Painted chrome? Sealed with a clearcoat? weighs less than chrome?

check out www.uswheelexchange.com

I emailed them and they have the 19's available. Price quoted was 800 plus 200 shipping on the exchange (that's all the shipping charges both ways).

Figure another 100-150 for mount/balance?

What do you guys think?

I purchased a '10 RX 350 in starfire pearl/parchment with everything on it including 19s. I ordered the brush nickel chrome wheels from Lexus and they should be here soon. Yes they are expensive; however, on my previous Lexus cars I had purchased the chrome wheels through Lexus. I am thankful I did because 3 different occassions I have had to have a chrome wheel replaced due to no fault of my own. Lexus gave me new ones each time without questions asked. My salesman told me the combination will be stunning and they will take pics. I will be sure to post.
