All the windows will roll down when pressing the unlock button on the electronic key for 3 seconds. This is suppose to be a standard feature but it's not working on mine. I brought it to my local Lexus dealer today (Longo Lexus) and they couldn't figure it out. The service rep said "hold it down for 7 seconds instead of 3 seconds". I replied, "well, did you try it?" He said, "no". WTF!

Long story short, he will call me back in a day or two for an update. Did I mention my wife, my daughter, and I waited for 2 hours for them to tell me they couldn't figure it out?

Anyone on here have similar problem? Pls. chime in....

It has to be programmed by the dealer. It is not standard. Go to the lexus owner's site, 2010 rx350 manuals, and then customization link (i think)...

 

would it be under some user customizable menus on the nav screen or instrumental cluster?

...with all due respect, did you guys even bother reading my post? I went to the dealer and they can't figure it out nor they know how to do it. I already know about the customizable menus. I've done my search and this is why I'm posting my question. 2010 RX owners, does this option work for you?

..by "Standard", I mean standard by dealer options. Meaning the dealer should have turned it on. Pls. see attached pic.

 

well there really isnt anything we can do seeing as how your little booklet says dealer only. either wait for them to respond, or try another dealer

On my 10RX, with Nav, power rear door, and remote start, the window/moonroof feature does not open with the remote. The Owner's Manual, page 616, states that the default setting is off and can be turned on by Dealer only.

By "standard" it means the way it comes from the factory. This is true with all the "standard factory" settings. I just went over all my settings in my new RX and can confirm the default (standard) settings.

 

It doesn't work on mine.

 

Has anyone had this feature turned on by the dealer and not work? I think that is the question 2 JZ-GE is asking, no?

As you can see they are the personalized setting for the 2010 RX. On page #4 are the settings that ONLY the Lexus dealer can customize for you.

All mine were in the standard default setting, and work as advertised on my week old 2010 RX.
It's a dealer problem if the settings do not work, or you want the "Programmable by Dealer Only" settings changed.
