Default A nav bug?

We don't like some of the nav and phone features grayed out while underway, but today I found one that's almost a bug.

If there is a destination in the nav, but one has the voice volume off.

one can change the volume while enroute, but if one had scrolled down to the next set of options in the voice menu at some point

and they were underway, the scroll bars are grayed out and one can't return to the top set of commands containing voice volume and therefore can't change it without stopping or using "natural speech". bummer.

While I agree that it is moderately annoying, It seems to me graying the scroll bar is a legit way to keep someone from scrolling options while driving, so I don't see this as a bug but a specific design intention. The only other way to handle it would be to scroll 3 options at a time and leave volume fixed at the top at all times.

Still how often do you change the voice volume while driving?

If one is going someplace they have been before and uses nav for ETA, the volume is off (most of the time)... if going someplace new the volume needs to goto something other than off. The workaround is to not leave the scrolled selection on the lower setting or be prepared to talk to one's car.

another pain is if the main bottom nav buttons are decluttered, the zoom rocker between the menu and map hard buttons will not work.

It seems some of cars are ok to get the input from the screen during driving. This will benefit to those who have the passenger on the side and he/she can search/enter for the driver.
