Just drove home in my newly leased Black Sapphire 2010 RX350! Lots of fun to drive!!! Now, I just need to figure out how to get my Treo 755p to work...it pairs and answers calls, but the caller can't hear me. ;-(

Regardless, I love this car already - it's beautiful!

 

I've ordered the same colors. How do you like the combination? Question did yours come with the black mats. If yes, what's your thoughts on the color. I'm thinking about switching to the premium mats that are same color as the interior. Good luck with it.

 

Great to hear that you love the new RX. Reading some of the comments from a few posters here, one would think that the RX is a waste of money. I obviously side with your impression and can't wait for our RX450h to get here sometime in June. It will be among the first built in May.

I love the color combo - it looks very classy, yet sporty. I was going to go with white and tan interior - boy am I happy with the Black Sapphire. You see the hint of blue during the daylight and not at all at night. Best time to view (i.e., stare at the paint!) is at dusk/sunset - the color looks so deep with the hint of blue glowing through. Very unique!

As for the mats, I did a double take in the showroom yesterday and thought they looked weird at first. However, after having similar light color carpet and mats in my Lexus GX470 and seeing how dirty they looked after winter, I think I am going to like the dark color. In a weird way, they kind of go with the darker dash color so at least it all "coordinates". ;-)

 

 

Thank you for the feedback. I think you will enjoy the rx. Been driving a 04 rx for 6 years (1st time owning a car that long) and still enjoy it. Regarding color, the black sapphire is the best color with the parchment (ivory) interior. enjoy!

 

Ha! I also just ordered a 2010 RX, Black Sapphire too....it seems a like a rare color but here we are 3 people who ordered the same combo...

They're just haters I like the 2010 RX redesign. The only thing that disappoint me a little is that it gains some weight and not taking on the new engine (similar to the IS350/GS350 - Maybe in a couple of years). Anyway, congrats and happy driving

 

My guess is that sales of the new RX will drop off quite a bit in the 2nd year and Lexus will fit the 2012 RX with the 305 HP engine from the IS/GS line.
