Idiot lights will not go off!
I am at my wits end about this problem! Sometime ago, my 2011 Lexus with 146K miles on it suddenly displayed three idiot lights, which will not go off no matter what I do. The first light is a standard check engine light. The second light looks like a car swerving in a bunch of directions, and the third is a warning on the message Light that says check all wheel drive system. I did change the batteries sometime ago and the lights went off and stayed off for about a week at which time they came on again. This is driving me nuts since I want to sell the car and I don’t want to give another person this problem. Does anyone have any information about this problem?
Check engine light is telling you that there are error codes that the computer has stored and proper diagnosis and repairs are needed.
Usually you can read them through a device called OBDII reader and many shops do a complimentary read for you. Keep in mind most people just think that replacing the sensor will fix the problem but it might not. All the computer tells you that an abnormality has been recorded.
Most mechanics refer to it as money light.
The accompanying lights that you are seeing come on as those functions may be disabled due to the error condition.

My guess is that you may have a bad speed sensor due to the traction control and AWD warning lights.
