Just pulled my 2010 rx350 out of the garage and noticed that the driver and passenger get side glass was much darker. Almost purple. Then after a few seconds it went to normal. Figured you guys might have seen this?

 

mine does the same thing. it's a nice feature along with the auto tilting mirrors when you reverse and I believe the rear view mirror also has color changing glass. also if you don't like your mirrors tilting on reverse, you can make sure the L and R mirror adjuster button is not pushed and they won't auto tilt

 

Ok, so it tilts too but WHY does the glass change color?

 

Auto dimming side mirrors and rear view mirror control push buttons are on right side of rear view mirror, push the button with line and green light turns on and system is active, works great at night.
