Wiper Blades
And if you go and get only the inserts instead of the full blade, it's even cheaper, though it was a b*tch to slide them on because the metal strips that insert into them got a little bent during the process. I'm scared that they may be so bent this time that I man need to replace them outright.

Metal frame(OEM) vs. beam design (squeegee-type ) wiper blades. Now I will stop pushing my point about why I think that it is best to swap out the dated OEM metal frame wipers.

These RX350 didn't come with the metal frame "conventional" style, it came with the slick Denso / NWB hybrid blades. These were introduced around 05/06 on the Lexus IS & GS at least in NA. They work far better than conventional as they have a lot more spring tension, and the plastic shroud helps keep ice out and helps them stay in place at higher speeds
I prefer these Denso over beam too, as they seem to have a more acceptable fit on most windshields, and are refillable. Have had no luck with Bosch / Michelin beam on my Highlander and RX for some reason. Bosch Icon are nice, but cost an arm and leg (at least in Canada), and aren't refillable. My friend already had his Icons destroyed by winter due to heavy ice, but before that they worked well

Bosch Icon wipers damaged/failed after one winter? WTF.
I installed Bosch Icons that lasted years until I traded the car/SUV they were installed on without any issues. Many winters of use on them all.
The Bosch Clear Advantage wipers in the pic I posted survived the last winter storm in my RX350 with AWD that got much use. The wipers are still steak free in heavy windy rain.
I know that many Lexus owners dislike aftermarket parts, but certain aftermarket parts like Bosch Icon and Clear Advantage wipers are better quality and better performing than the run of the mill OEM wipers.
A set of OEM refills cost about as much a set of replacement Bosch Clear Advantage blade wipers with better performance and similar(if not longer) service life. Hence why i swapped out the faded/rusted out OEM wipers on my 2015 Rx350 for modern bean wiper technology.
Why pay to swap out some rubber wiper inserts that does not even perform that well when you can just swap out the wiper arm for the same or similar cost for a better performing Bosch beam wiper? I do not understand some of your member's logic in regard to blindly sticking with dated OEM technology.

You're reminding me of my buddy with the Icons! Me and him get into arguments about the Bosch vs. Denso wipers all the time LOL
I can get Denso OEM inserts for 8 CAD per side, I don't think even Clear Advantage will be that affordable. I'm also not sold on the beam blades, I find that they don't really offer anything over the hybrids - and not being able to refill bugs me. What bugs me even more is how the Bosch wipers sit on the j-hook, they sit kinda high and the adapter / mount bugs me. I like the simplicity of the how the Denso blades come of w/ the pull tab and how sleek and low profile they are.
I've got a year on my Denso inserts on my 2008 RX and still going strong, 1 winter and parked outside. The '14 RX gets 3 years out of a set of inserts. If I was forced to go aftermarket, I'd probably end up with either the Icons or Clear Advantage, though. Still way better than anything else I've tried out there.

Some customers just go with OEM parts for the perceived reliability and exact fitment, which is true for some parts but not all. The aftermarket can make parts that improve on many of the OEM parts. However, Toyota does a great job using quality parts that are hard to improve on. Not the wipers.

I installed the cheaper Bosch Clear Advantage on my 2015 RX350, but installed the Bosch Icons on my 2020 Alfa Romeo. Both work very good and has been going strong for over a year without any issues.
Here is what I paid for my Clear Advantage wipers for my 2015 RX350 on Amazon.

The last time I ordered a couple sets of OEM inserts from the local Toyota dealership's online store, they cost me $7 each. In our climate, they tend to last at least 3 years. The RX is my wife's daily driver and when it is snowy or icy outside, she stays home. She has never complained about streaking or visibility issues with the OEM inserts so I stick with them. Hard to beat that deal.
I believe PIAA makes the best wiper blades on the planet, but they have always been super expensive.
