Multiple Codes at Once - BlueDriver?
Hello,
2015 RX350. Started it up and its showing
After searching the forums I came up with some info and have tried the following:
I know TechScanner seems to be the best but I don't have a Windows laptop.
Is autzone/orielly scanner as good as BlueDriver, or the same as my ANCEL and wouldn't show anything? If I remember last time I had one of them scan something I think it was the same cheap one I had?
Any thoughts of anything else to check let me know.

- Check ABS
- Check BSM
Check AWD - Brake Malfunction
- Power Steering
After searching the forums I came up with some info and have tried the following:
- Checked gas cap to make sure it was tight
- Ran a battery test to make sure that was good - relatively new AGM battery so figured it would be good, but checked anyway
- Tried to reset the codes by pulling the battery cable for a few minutes, they came back on
- Tried to get a code from a cheap ANCEL OBDII scanner I have, but it did not show any codes
- Did a quick scan for rodents / chewed wires and didnt see anything obvious
I know TechScanner seems to be the best but I don't have a Windows laptop.

Okay, so battery is 12.8 at rest, and 13.6-8 while running. While a touch on the low side according to Chat GPT, I should be in range:
Condition Ideal Voltage Reading Engine off (Rest) ~12.4–12.7 volts Engine on (Running) ~13.8–14.7 volts, Possible Alternator Issue: Below 13.5 volts or above 14.8 volts (overcharging)
I forgot I had a OBD MX+ scanner and bought the Fusion app and enhanced codes. It is showing:
MIL is off

MIL is off
- C1407 short in rear speed sensor RH circuit
- C1408 short in rear speed sensor LH circuit
- C1541 Vehicle Speed signal
- C1296 ABS malfunction
- C1A45 - Vehicle Speed Sensor
- B126A - Remote Starter ECU Communication Stop
well. I searched some of those codes on YouTube and rodents kept coming up. so I dug into the wiring more by following the rear sensor wiring and sure enough. Found an area where a mouse chewed through the wires. spliced in some new wire and codes are all gone. thanks for the help!
Congratulations on diagnosing and repairing your RX!
Do you usually park it outside or in a garage? Rodent damage is not uncommon, but often it is inside the engine area, not at a wheel sensor.

Well done. Those critters can cause all sorts of problems. Several years ago a very determined squirrel kept chewing through the nylon fuel line running underneath the bed of my 1999 Ram. After the third time, I wrapped that line with metallic tape and stashed several mothballs in that area. He finally got the message and moved on (or died).
