Windscreen washer motor
Tried to wash my windscreen today and nothing. No sound, no water. Rear wash and headlight wash do work. Windscreen wipers work too.
Looks at the fuses it seems the washer and the wipers are on the same fuse. I have taken thee cover off by the fluid reservoir but everything seems to be buried pretty deep.
Has anyone had the same problem?
Has anyone replaced the motor/reservoir themselves?
Cheers
Rishi

Year of your RX? Trim level?
Check that the front windshield washer hoses are not disconnected or clogged or that nozzles clogged. Or a connector broken. Or you ran out of fluid.
Or the motor died, or the reservoir tank cracked from age or ice. Or the nozzles may be frozen. How cold is it in your location?
I suspect a hose break or hose connection break, since it is unlikely for both front nozzles to clog at the same time. But you never know.

Thanks for the responses. I now understand there are 3 separate pumps and since the lights and the rear do work I am pretty sure it’s the pump. Found a couple of video’s and looks like I can get at the pump by simply loosening the wheel liner. It’s a balmy 18C here (Netherlands) at the moment so no freezing problems. Just ordered a replacement from Yoshi. I saw some pretty cheap knock offs but I prefer to replace with OEM parts to be sure.
