I am fairly new to this lexus model. The car was driving just fine, then the service requires indicator popped up then went away. We just had an oil change within 2 weeks, so we didn't think of it. Came home then parked it in the garage for about a week. Battery went all the way down, just recharged the battery to full, but we still can't start the car... every time we tried to start it, the screen is flashing, BSM not available message indicator came on, the engine turned but making scratchy sound instead of the soft start up as usual. Not sure if it is the starter or the car could not connect to battery. Attached is the screen shot of the car panel when I tried to start the car.
How old is your battery?
You may think it's fine, but these cars are sensitive to battery requirements.
You may just need a new battery.
A week idle should not drain the battery.
