Tailgate Issue
My Tailgate only raises and lowers every once and awhile. Button by glove box is enabled, and it doesnt matter if I use the Fob or tailgate button or front dash button. I can hear the motor work and the the tailgate will latch and unlatch.
Any ideas?

First idea ,,, use the search function. This is a somewhat common problem and has been discussed many times.
Second idea ... do some troubleshooting ..
Is the hatch balanced? Does it need minor force to push up/down.
Does it get worse when it is cold?
Has the problem been getting worse progressively?
These indicate that the lift struts [as they provide force counter to the weight of the hatch] are wearing out. OEM are not exorbitantly expensive. I bought mine from Lexus on line retails in Arizona [they sell on eBay].

My experience has been that StrongArm makes the best hood and tailgate lift supports (at very reasonable prices). I installed a pair of their hood lift supports on my wife's 2015 RX350 several years ago. When her vehicle needs a new pair of tailgate lift supports, I will install the StrongArm version there as well. They are significantly more robust than the OEM version.
