When I press brake pedal, car will not start

 

Have some one check the rear brake lights, do they turn on when you press the brake pedal? If not then the problem is with the brake switch which is telling the ECU that it is unsafe to start the vehicle.

you can also see the little light on the start button change colors when you press the brake pedal.

also, if would help if you could provide more of a description beyond "car will not start". Does it click? Does it power on?...
