Where can I purchase a new Rack and Pinion for my 2005 Rx330 AWD.

Advance auto want $500 after discount. Seems steep.

Got one for my '08 on eBay for 140 used from California off a 2002 Highlander - looks almost brand new. I wouldn't trust a reman rack with my life

 

I've never bought a "re-manned" anything that was worth the box it was in. haha

 

There are about 1300 steering racks for sale at different junkyards across the country according to car-part dot com put in your zip code and see what’s near you. Junk yard parts can still have a lot of life in them and are OEM quality

 

The one I changed out on my Highlander was from a junkyard and was only 40 bucks. Check for intact boots, and loosen the tie rod clamp and if no oil leaks out - Bob’s your uncle. Still going strong 3 yrs later never lost an ounce of fluid.
