Coilovers
I have read old posts from this forum about people who have ran coilovers on their 2004-2009 RX and am wanting a set for myself. The Eibach springs I have aren't low or stiff enough for my tastes. The car handles great with very little body roll after the springs, sway bars & whole suspension refresh etc but I feel as if it's still a little too high up. With that, has anyone recently or someone who is still active have these coilovers on their RX? Also, a few questions for those who purchased a set:
- What brand did you go with, what influenced your final decision to go with said brand?
- What spring rate did you go with?
- Did your set of coilovers come with new mounts or sway bar end links, or did you reuse stock?
- For the rear knuckle-to-strut bolt, were these the factory M15 size, or the larger M17 size that is specified for some NA model 2007-2009 RX350s?
With that, I hope to see some lowered RXs! I'll post updates on the coilovers in this thread once I get them and install them.

I’ve been eyeing BC’s BR series for quite a while now, also on my short list are the Fortune Auto 500 series coilovers. I’m torn between the two and all I have to go off of is my co-worker who’s tried both on his Lexus IS. He liked both but did mention the Fortune Autos are of higher quality and the ride reflects that, although he said the BC’s handled very well too.
I’m likely going with one of those two, but since BC has been proven to be good for our application here and on the Highlander forums on multiple cars as well, that definitely putting on influence on my decision.
