I know Ultra Racing makes one for our cars, but I wanted to see if I could find a cheap and OE solution for people on a budget.
I picked up a strut tower brace from a junkyard 2003 Highlander for cheap, and decided to see if it would fit my RX due to the cars being mechanical twins and having an identical front track and suspension. The 2004-2007 Highlander has a different brace, but it’s nearly identical to this 2001-2003 one.
Unfortunately, the bar is the right width, but the RX’s cowl interferes with fitment. You would need it to curve up slightly like the 2002-2006 Camry’s brace, but not so high that it hits the wiper arm motors. I might try a Camry or Lexus ES330 one next and possibly modify it if it’s not wide enough to bolt down.
