Hey there -

I've had my 2005 RX 330 for a few months and still learning about it.

However whenever I start the car, the screen has a safety message that appears to be in all cars (my gf has a new Highlander and she shows that message). I'm presented with 3 buttons : "English" "Francais" "I agree".

I always have to hit the "I agree" button (unless I'm in Reverse). With my gf's highlander it just flashes that screen and goes on to her map.

I've tried settings, info, - scoured the online stuff. I don't mind if it shows it briefly but having to "agree" to be a safe driver every time I start the thing seems silly.

Anybody know a way to avoid this?

 

Choose to show anything else except the Map... trip info, for example...

 

Ok, but is there a way to default to trip menu when I start the car?

 

IMHO no - it's the safety feature
