Default Dash Speakers

Thanks to all the great write-ups I was able to do a total overhaul on the sound system, finished this afternoon. My one remaining question is about the dash speakers. Do the front speakers feed the signal to the dash speakers, or are the dash speakers and tweeters wired together? I’ve read it both ways, anyone have a definitive answer?
thanks!!!

That is a great question- still looking at the forum here -
One user said that the wiring for the dash speakers consolidates near the passenger kick panel. I will investigate that.
From what I have read so far, some just disconnect the OEM speakers in the dash and can still fit 1 inch silk dome tweeters under the dash grills.
Anything to not pull the dash has got to be always better. This sounds way easier than pulling the entire dash.
