When changing the starter I noticed a 3/16 hose coming from the top of the transmission secured by a gear hose clamp the other end has a bolt in it secured by a second hose clamp (visible in pictures).

I'll show it to a Ford mechanic i know to see if he knows where it is connected to.
if it's a breather hose plugged off..cant be good for tranny...increased pressure?
