Maint reqd
Driving on the hwy today and the orange maint reqd light came on, its been turned off on the dash since i got the 2009 RX some months ago.... anyone know why this light would come on... i checked today and the maint is set to off? there is the tire pressure warning light on but its been like that for two months... sensors need replacing next new tires

Not sure why Lexus thought it was a good idea to add this particular Idiot Light, except to make people get nervous and go to the dealership.
At least they put the info to shut it off in the manual, so that's nice.

...first make sure your odometer is reading total miles, not Trip 1 or Trip 2. Hold button in about 5-10 seconds after turning the key and you'll see the light go off.
